The 2019 Winter Meeting, including the 4th Annual Forum for Postdoctoral and Student Researchers, was held February 4-5, hosted by CMI Deputy Director Rod Eggert at Colorado School of Mines. More than 100 attendees heard plenary presentations by CMI Director Chris Haase, Colorado School of Mines Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer Stefanie Tompkins and U.S. Department of Energy R&D Consortia Team Leader Mike McKittrick.

Three dozen graduate students and postdocs gave oral or poster presentations. Top oral presentations were by Hunter Henderson, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and Emily Moore, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Top posters were by Ginny Allaedini, FIPR, and Santanu Roy, Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Several CMI projects also held technical progress meetings during the winter meeting, which is one of two each year that CMI researchers come together from various national laboratories, universities and companies.
